….This dish is only liked by ME and JOHN. I hope LACEY and ANNE will be able to use this recipe later (very simple recipe) when they want. Just thinking of it makes me happy.

Serving: 4

Time: 1h 10 min

Ingredients:

  1. 2 cup short grain rice
  2. 8 cup bean sprouts
  3. 1 cup sliced pork neck (pork toro)
  4. 1 cup yeolmu kimchi (this is optional)

5. 1 Ts sake

Ingredients for sauce:

  1. 1 green pepper, minced
  2. 1 red pepper, minced
  3. 2 green onion stems, minced
  4. 2 Ts red chili powder
  5. 2 Ts minced garlic
  6. 2 Ts toasted sesame seeds
  7. 2 Ts sesame oil
  8. 4 Ts soy sauce
  9. 1 Ts sugar

Cooking Instructions:

  1. Add 2 cup of short grain rice to heavy bottomed pot, rinse in cold water and drain. Scrub the wet rice by hand about 10 seconds. Rinse and drain 3–4 times until the water becomes clear. Let it soak at least 30 minutes.
  2. Put into electric rice cooker reducing the amount of water a little.( 2 cup rice)

2. Next, put the soybean sprouts in large bowl with water, rinse and drain a couple times to clean. Pick out some brownish rotten beans. Drain and set aside.

3. Put the bean sprouts into electric rice cooker on the top.

4. Cook to choose an optional function “mixed”.

5. Take fat off the pork neck, slice them.

6. Stir fry the pork neck with sake until golden brown, set aside.

7. Mix all sauce ingredients to make the sauce.

8. When the rice is done, mix and serve with the pork, some yeolmu kimchi and the sauce.

I started organizing recipes that my family likes. I learned these recipes from some chefs and popular blogs. May my daughters remember mama's food.
