…..I have a grandson CALEB who is 8 months old. He has started to eat solids, trying various foods. This is the first thing I cooked for my grandson. If he eats it well, I will make it again. It isn’t easy to make this broth without any spices.

Serving: 15

Time: 2 hr

Ingredients:

  1. 1 organic whole chicken
  2. 18 cup water
  3. 1 onion
  4. 2 white parts of green onion
  5. 5 garlic cloves

Cooking Instructions:

  1. Boil the chicken in boiling water for 10 minutes, turn off the heat and clean the chicken again. Pour out the water, and then pour 18 cup water into a big pot.

2. Add the chicken, onion, white parts of green onion and garlic into the pot.

3. Heat high for 30 minutes and heat down with low about 1hr 30 minutes.

4. Turn off the heat and sift the broth. Take out the chicken meat(when you make a porridge, you can mix it then).

6. Put in the fridge to cool down. After cooling down, sift out the fat on top of the liquid and divide into disposable packs. Keep frozen for 2–3 weeks.

I started organizing recipes that my family likes. I learned these recipes from some chefs and popular blogs. May my daughters remember mama's food.
