….Someone in my family always orders a french toast when we eat brunch in a restaurant. We always share it little by little. It’s a light brunch menu that nobody can refuse. Everybody can start with a pleasant morning!

Servings: 4–5

Time: 20 minutes plus 3 hr for soaking with egg mixture

Ingredients:

  1. 5 eggs
  2. 1/2 cup milk
  3. 1/2 cup heavy cream
  4. 1 Ts sugar
  5. 1/2 ts sea salt
  6. 1 sweet baguette, cut into 2 inches
  7. 4–5 strawberry
  8. 1/4 cup blueberry
  9. 1/2 Ts butter
  10. 1/2 Ts olive oil
  11. maple syrup(ESCUMINAC)

Cooking Instructions:

  1. Mix the egg, milk, heavy cream, sugar and sea salt in a bowl with a whisk.

2. Soak the sweet baguette into the egg mixture.

3. Store it in a refrigerator for 3 hour in a ziploc(all of the egg mixture must be absorbed by the sweet baguette).

4. After 3 hours, preheat oven to 356F. Heat a pan with medium high heat and add the butter and olive oil into the pan.

5. Grill the soaked sweet baguette into the pan both side until golden brown. Preheat the oven to 356F.

6. Cook in a preheated oven about 15 minutes.

7. Turn off the oven heat and take out the baked french toasts. Serve it with strawberries, blueberries, and maple syrup.

I started organizing recipes that my family likes. I learned these recipes from some chefs and popular blogs. May my daughters remember mama's food.
