Fried Shrimp Served Over Rice

Ingredients:

  1. 8–10 shrimp(prawn), peeled and deveined(break the muscle with a knife)
  2. 2–3 cups steamed rice
  3. 10–15 perilla leaves
  4. 10 pieces crown daisy
  5. 4 tbsp potato starch
  6. canola oil to fry
  1. 1tbsp potato starch(this is optional)
  2. 1 1/2 cups flour for pan-frying(or fried powder)
  3. 1/4 tsp baking powder(this is optional)
  4. 1 3/4 cups water + some pieces of ice(add right before frying)
  1. 4 tbsp comble’s tsuyu
  2. 2 tbsp Mat-Gan-Jang

Cooking Instruction:

  1. Put the tsuyu and Mat-Gan-Jang into a bowl and mix well. Set aside.
