….Spicy stir-fried pork is the perfect dish that I was thinking of. I made grilled pork today, but I changed my mind. The only big difference is that I added hot curry powder instead of chili powder to the marinade for grilled pork. Some of you might be wondering what the difference is between my spicy stir-fried pork recipe that I already posted and this recipe. The taste is very different. Both are delicious!

Servings: 3- 4

Time: 30 minutes plus 1 hour for marinading pork

Ingredients:

  1. 1 lb pork(shoulder blade, loin, pork belly), cut into one bite size
  2. 2 Ts curry powder
  3. 1 Ts Mirin
  4. 1 Ts sesame oil
  5. 1 Ts Mat-Gan-Jang(or 1 Ts soy +1 ts sugar)
  6. 1 1/2 Ts syrup
  7. 1 Ts garlic, minced
  8. 1 Ts plum extract
  9. 2 Ts avocado oil
  10. sesame seeds(for garnish)
  11. 1 Ts chives, minced(for garnish)

Cooking Instructions:

  1. Mix the curry powder, Mat-Gan-Jang, Mirin, sesame oil, syrup, garlic, and plum extract into a bowl well.

2. Marinate the pork with the mixed sauce and store them in a refrigerator for 1 hour.

3. After 1 hour, put it on a skewer.

4. Heat a pan with medium high heat and add the avocado oil into the pan to grill the pork. Add a smoky flavor with a torch.

5. Transfer to a warmed serving dish. Sprinkle it with some garnish and serve immediately.

I started organizing recipes that my family likes. I learned these recipes from some chefs and popular blogs. May my daughters remember mama's food.
