Lasagna With Mushroom, Shrimp, and Bolognese Sauce
….Homemade lasagna may have a few steps, but each step is easy and I assure you it’s worth the time. This dish is a classic that every cook should have in their rotation. I made some bolognese sauce yesterday, and it’s still fresh. I add the bolognese sauce with this recipe. But I need one more sauce, bechamel, for this dish. This is the first time I’m using no boil sheets pasta, and I saw that sometimes ANNE used it. I started with a bit of anxiety with no boil sheets pasta, but the result wasn’t bad. The edges were a little crispy on the top layer. Would it have been nice if I had added more cheese or sauce?

Times: 1 hour 30 minutes
Ingredients:
- 1 box no boil sheets of pasta
- 2.5 -3 cup Bolognese sauce
- 15 shrimp, peeled and sliced
- 4 cup brown mushrooms, sliced
- Mozzarellas, Parmesan, feta cheese to taste
- fresh mozzarella(this is optional)
- 2 cup spinach, cleaned
- sea salt to taste
- 2 Ts avocado oil
For bechamel sauce:
- 4 Ts unsalted butter
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 cup milk
- sea salt to taste
- black pepper to taste
- a pinch of nutmeg(this is optional)
Cooking Instructions:
- To make the bechamel sauce, heat a sauce pan with low heat and melt the butter. Add the flour into the sauce pan to whisk them.
2. Stir them until golden brown for 8- 10 minutes.
3. Add the milk, sea salt, and black pepper into the sauce pan slowly and heat up the sauce pan to medium heat and whisk until the mixture thickens for 3–5 minutes. Add nutmeg to taste. Add some sea salt if it is too bland. Set aside.
4. Heat a pan with medium heat and add 1 Ts avocado oil, spinach, and a pinch of sea salt into the pan to stir it quickly. Set aside.
5. Put 1 avocado oil, mushrooms, and a pinch of sea salt into the pan to stir them until the moisture is gone. Set aside.
6. Put the shrimp into the pan to stir it cook. Set aside.
7. Spread a spoonful of bechamel sauce to cover the bottom of the oven baking pan.
8. Put the following in order: sheet of pasta, bolognese sauce, mushrooms, shrimp, spinach, cheese, bechamel sauce into the oven baking pan. Repeat the layers and end with a layer of lasagna pasta topped with cheese(if you have bolognese sauce leftover add to the top).
9. Preheat the oven to 350F. Cover the oven baking pan tightly with foil and place in the oven. Cook in a preheated oven for 30 minutes.
10. Uncover the oven baking pan to bake another 10 minutes until the top begins to brown. Remove from oven and allow to sit for 5–10 minutes before serving.
