….I was wondering how this dish will taste with the delicious tsuyu -@comble2’s tsuyu! The chef said “When you make it for the first time, you have to follow the recipe’s exact same ingredients.” I think she wanted to convey the taste of the carefully prepared recipe. It’s very important to get the same result after cooking a recipe. I always try to focus on the same ingredients and cooking process to achieve satisfactory results. First, I marinated some campari tomatoes for 1 day. After making it, I wished upon it to be delicious “get delicious! get delicious! get delicious!” This dish was a very light meal with the marinated tomatoes. Especially the clean aftertaste is excellent for me. It’s a great to have this for lunch during summertime. The marinated tomato is very fresh, savory, and mouth-watering and I love this idea. Thank you to @comble2 for sharing many recipes using tsuyu.

Servings: 2

Time: 20 minutes plus 1 day marinating tomatoes in a refrigerator

Ingredients:

  1. 12 campari tomatoes, peeled
  2. 160 g dried noodles(somen)
  3. green lettuce for garnish, sliced
  4. chives for garnish, cut into 1 inch
  5. sesame seeds to taste

For marinate sauce:

  1. 2 tbsp comble2’s tsuyu
  2. 1 tsp soy sauce
  3. 3 tbsp plume extract
  4. 1/2 tsp sea salt(or 2/3 tsp)
  5. black pepper to taste
  6. 5 tbsp avocado oil

….all mixed(I made it double)

Cooking Instructions:

  1. Cut crosswise very thinly with a knife on top of the tomatoes and put them into a bowl. Meanwhile, boil some water with an electric water kettle.

2. Pour the hot water into the bowl until the tomatoes are submerged for 1 minute. You can see the tomatoes starting to peel. Now, peel the tomatoes.

3. Mix the tsuyu, soy sauce, plum extract, sea salt, black pepper, and avocado oil into a bowl well with a whisk.

4. Pour the sauce into the peeled tomatoes and store them into a refrigerator for 1 day.

5. After 1 day, heat a pot with medium high heat and add some water to boil. Cook the dried noodles into the pot for 3 minutes(depends on noodles) and wash with running water quickly and sift with a strainer. Set aside.

6. Slice the green lettuce, chives, and marinated tomato into a tray.

7. Serve it with all together(drizzle the marinated sauce on top of the noodles).

I started organizing recipes that my family likes. I learned these recipes from some chefs and popular blogs. May my daughters remember mama's food.
