Pan-Fried Perilla Leaves with Scallops (Kkaennip-Jeon)


  1. 80 perilla leaves, sliced
  2. 9 scallops, chopped
  3. 2/3 cup whelk meat(TSUBU GAI), chopped
  4. 1 cup pancake mix(200 ml)
  5. 1 cup frying mix(200 ml)
  6. 2 Ts cheongyang pepper(or jalapeno), minced
  7. 5 Ts fresh green pepper, minced
  8. 2 Ts red paprika, chopped
  9. 1 ts fish sauce
  10. 1 1/2 cup water(300 ml)
  11. avocado oil to fry
  12. 2 Ts soy sauce
  13. 2 ts vinegar

Cooking Instructions:

  1. Mix the perilla leaves, cheongyang pepper, green pepper, red paprika, scallops, and whelk meat into a bowl.
