Pan-Fried Pork with Sweet Rice Flour
….I often serve this dish as party food for family gatherings or when guests come over. The combination of various vegetables and meat is sure to satisfy everyone. It’s best served at room temperature or cold. Although this is typically a fancy dish for guests, I’ve simplified it here to highlight its best parts. We serve it with soy sauce, a distinctive and special sauce that can also be used in many other dishes, either as a dipping sauce or salad dressing. I’ve kept the most important and delicious elements for this recipe. The pan-fried meat coated in sweet rice flour gives it a slightly chewy, rice cake-like texture. While there is some effort involved in preparing the vegetables, the blend of fresh vegetables and grilled meat is well worth it — they are truly the best parts of the dish. It’s easy to make yet still feels and tastes special. I hope you enjoy it!
