Pickled Cabbage & Perilla leaves


  1. 1 cabbage, cleaned to remove the leaves and pat dry
  2. 40–50 perilla leaves
  3. 10 garlic cloves, sliced
  4. 30 g ginger, sliced
  5. 10 dried chili pepper
  1. 1 cup water
  2. 1 cup white sugar
  3. 1 cup vinegar
  4. 3 tbsp sea salt

Cooking Instructions:

  1. Put the sugar, water, vinegar, and sea salt into a bowl to mix well until the salt and sugar dissolves. Set aside.
