….This recipe is simple steak where you grill the steak with salt, and add some steak sauce. It doesn’t need any marinade. I cut it into cubes in advance for simplicity. This one bowl dish has some pieces of steak, avocado, red onion, and wasabi. They are essential ingredients and are a great combination. If you try this dish, make sure to prepare the ingredients and try it. My husband JOHN likes meat unconditionally. When spring comes and your body feels down, let’s eat a meal that gives you some strength.

Servings: 3

Time: 30 minutes

Ingredients:

  1. 1.2 lb beef ribeye steak
  2. 1 1/2 cup red onion, sliced and soaked with cold water for 30 minutes
  3. 1 1/2 avocado, sliced
  4. Wasabi to taste
  5. chives(garnish)
  6. sea salt to taste
  7. black pepper to taste
  8. sesame seeds to taste
  9. olive oil to grill
  10. 3 cup steamed rice

For steak sauce:

  1. 15 gm fresh ginger, sliced thinly(about 15 pieces)
  2. 2 ts sugar(or Muscovado)
  3. 2 Ts soy sauce
  4. 2 Ts Mirin
  5. 10 gm butter
  6. 1 Ts sesame oil

Cooking Instructions:

  1. Salt the meat with sea salt both sides for 10 minutes and dice the meat into a tray.

2. Heat a pan with high heat and add olive oil into the pan to grill the meat for 1–2 minutes.

3. Add a smoky flavor with a torch if you need. Take out the meat on a tray and set aside(let the meat rest).

4. Heat the same pan with low heat and add the Mirin, ginger, sugar, and soy sauce into the pan until it is boiling.

5. Turn off the heat and take out the ginger. Add the butter into the pan to melt.

6. Add the meat juice into the pan to boil them for 1 minute.

7. Place the steamed rice on a bowl. Put the red onions, avocado, cube steaks, and steak sauce on the top of the rice bowl.

8. Serve it with Wasabi and garnish.

I started organizing recipes that my family likes. I learned these recipes from some chefs and popular blogs. May my daughters remember mama's food.
