Steamed Perilla Leaves(Kkaennip-jjim)
….I know some of you are growing perilla leaves in your garden. I have a small garden in my house to grow my own perilla leaves this year. It’s so fun checking my perilla leaves every morning to see how much they’ve grown since the day before, and harvesting the biggest leaves. Today I’m going to show you a recipe you can use for your perilla leaves. It takes 1 minute and 30 seconds with a microwave oven. It’s super easy to make it, so once you see how it’s done you’ll be doing it all the time. This way they are smooth and soft and keep their gorgeous bright green color. This dish is one of popular side dishes in Korea.
