Tortilla Pizza with Ragu Sauce

….This recipe is from @future.plate. This is the recipe she made and it was so delicious that she left a video on her YouTube channel. Thank you for sharing such an easy recipe….haha! It’s the best because it’s a combination of ingredients that anyone will have. Using flour tortilla as the base for the pizza means I don’t have to spend time making, stretching, or rolling my own dough. Also putting cheddar cheese and mozzarella between the creates a crispy thin crust texture while mozzarella good for melting. I like to use a combination of two different cheeses. I made some prosciutto chips for topping because my husband likes prosciutto chips. Then, I added some ragu sauce that I made on my own. This is the first time I made pizza with tortillas and it’s very easy to make pizza with ragu sauce. Everyone is in love with the stretchy cheese. My husband and I especially liked the spiciness in the taste with the sriracha sauce.

Servings: 2–3

Time: 40 minutes

Ingredients:

  1. 2 large tortillas
  2. 80 g prosciutto, (40 g grilled and 40 g cut into small size)
  3. ragu sauce(bolognese sauce)to taste
  4. 350 g fresh mozzarella, cut into small
  5. Cheddar cheese to taste
  6. 8-10 green olive, cut into 2 or 3 pieces
  7. Italy parsley to taste
  8. Sriracha sauce to taste
  9. Parmesan cheese to taste

Cooking Instructions:

  1. Scatter 40 g prosciutto onto a tray with a baking paper.

2. Heat a broiler with high heat and cook it for 3–5 minutes until crispy.

3. Remove the tray onto a counter and set aside.

4. Lay the tortilla out on a board.

5. Spread the cheddar cheese onto the tortilla.

6. Put another tortilla onto top of the cheddar cheese.

7. Spread the sriracha sauce on top of the tortilla.

8. Put 40 g prosciutto on top of the sriracha sauce.

9. Put some ragu sauce on top of the prosciutto(do not add the liquid from ragu sauce).

10. Add the mozzarella on top of the ragu sauce.

11. Add the olive on top of the mozzarella.

12. Sprinkle some Italian parsley.

13. Place the pizza onto a baking tray. Preheat the oven to 395F- 400 F.

14. Cook in a preheated oven about 30 minutes.

15. After 30 minutes, turn off the heat and remove the tray onto a counter. Sprinkle some prosciutto chips, Parmesan cheese, and Italian parsley on top of the pizza.

16. Slice into 4 or 6 pieces and serve it.
